Simple Services:
Includes office visit, wound care or dressing changes, cosmetic consultation, full skin exams without any procedures, Fungal or Scabies microscopic evaluation in office, sending prescription(s) to the pharmacy. Other “simple services” may apply to this list and will be discussed with your provider on a case-by-case basis.

 

Minor Procedures:
Includes any use of liquid nitrogen, Canthacur or Canthacur Plus (aka “beetle juice”), intralesional steroid injections, using a local anesthetic, skin tag removal with scissors, curette removal of lesions, hyfrecator destruction of lesions. Other “minor procedures” may apply to this list and will be discussed with your provider on a case-by-case basis.

 

Advanced Procedures:
Biopsy or complete removal of lesions (please note that any lesion removed or biopsied will be sent for a diagnostic reading which includes an extra fee), surgical excisions, Incision and drainage with or without packing, wound closure with sutures, and ED&C (scraping and burning skin cancers or large precancerous lesions). Other “advanced procedures” may apply to this list and will be discussed with your provider on a case-by-case basis.

 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

• You will be billed based on the total time of your visit, starting from when you are taken back to a room until you leave, rounding up if in-between pricing times. 

• Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, or credit/debit card.

• Surgical excisions generally take 30-60 minutes.  A full skin exam is a minimum of 20 minutes. 

• You may be billed for more than one column depending on what services are done during your visit. 

  • Example: As a Cash-Pay patient, you had a full skin exam that lasted 25 minutes and then we did 1 biopsy that took 10 minutes.

    • 25 Minute Full Skin Exam (Simple Service) = $165

    • 10 Minute Advanced Procedure  = $150

    • Pathology Fee (estimated, not exact) = $130

    • Total Due this day = $445

Separate fees in addition to Fee Schedule:

• Bacterial, fungal or viral cultures or any bloodwork ordered = Separate lab fee

• Pathology/Diagnostic reading = Separate lab processing and pathology reading fee

• Mohs’ Micrographic Surgery = Please see fees based on Membership or Cash Pay

• Urine pregnancy tests = Separate lab fee
